Opened in 2001, Ice Cream Renaissance was the first small-batch, homemade ice cream shop in the area — and it’s been scooping joy ever since.

As of December 2025, ICR is proudly family-owned and operated by the Wiley family. We live right here in Vancouver with our two kids, Everett and Harper, plus our dog Bruno and our cat Party (yes, that’s really her name). Some of our favorite family memories involve ice cream — after a big game, on a camping trip, or honestly… any excuse we can find. That’s exactly what drew us to Ice Cream Renaissance: the chance to help create those same moments for other families in our community.

We’re all about keeping the magic that’s made ICR so loved while adding fresh energy to the mix. Expect classic favorites, creative new flavors, and collaborations with local partners — like sourcing espresso beans from Vancouver’s own Relevant Coffee. We believe ice cream is better when it brings people together.

We also believe everyone deserves a great scoop. That’s why we offer dairy-free and gluten-free options, so more guests can enjoy something sweet.

More than 20 years later, Ice Cream Renaissance is still a place to hang out, play games, have fun, and make memories — one scoop (or two) at a time.

This city rocks!

We love being an active part of the best city in Washington. Vancouver is a great place with fantastic people, and we have a lot of fun being a part of many community events from Get Outdoors Day, to the 6-Sunset Concerts, to Hoops on the River.

We also believe it is a responsibility to give back to our community by partnering up with different non-profits including the local Make-A-Wish Foundation, Vancouver Parks Foundation, and Young Life.  Vancouver has great people and organizations and it is a blast working with them!

We are dedicated to creating high quality ice cream.  We create each flavor in 3 gallon batches with hormone free Alpenrose Dairy products. Because we care about our guests and the unique dietary needs of each one of us we do not add corn syrup to our ice cream and we have vegan and gluten free ice cream choices.
